- 1964 - Was one of 73 million TV viewers who saw the first Beatles performance on Ed Sullivan.

- 1964 - Saw Dave Clark Five on Ed Sullivan. I liked them better, for a while.
- 1966 - The nuns would not let me grow a Beatle haircut.
- 1970 - Bought classmate Greg O. a six-pack in exchange for a guitar lesson. I think he taught me Let It Be.
- 1972 - The year of surprising opening acts. Drove from Lincoln, NE to Minneapolis, MN to see the Rolling Stones. Opening act: Stevie Wonder.
- 1972 - Saw Frank Zappa and Mothers in Lincoln, NE. Opening act: Steely Dan.
- 1973 - Purchased 1972 Fender Strat. Used it to annoy college roommates.
- 1978 - Heard Elvis Costello. Started writing and recording original songs.
- 1979 - I did not attend Disco Demolition Night, but I was there in spirit.
- 1982ish - Began playing guitar in big-band / jazz band in Phoenix.
- 1991 - Became lead guitarist for a cover band that became Radio Pirates; hundreds of paying gigs all over the Bay Area.
- about 1995 - Started writing songs that didn't suck as much as before.
- 2000ish - Radio Pirates on hiatus; focused on songwriting, producing, and recording.
- 2001 - Met Amy Holloway at a recording session. Started writing songs for her voice and demographic.
- 2004 - Met Rachel Shapiro's mom; heard Rachel's demo. Started recording sessions with Rachel and her mom.
- 2006 - Released Amy's first CD, with 11 original songs.
- 2007 - Finished recording sessions for Rachel's first CD.
- 2008 - Released Rachel's first CD, with 5 original songs, one song written by Rachel and five covers

- 2010 - Began writing piano solo instrumental pieces.
- 2011 - Worked with Stepperette baton performer on original song to accompany solo performance.
- 2012 - "Bring It!" performed before auditorium crowd at Stepperette final.
